IMPORTANT NOTE: The FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) Section is to provide a quick reference to “frequently asked questions” that Tenants may have and is not meant to replace your BMI Rental Agreement. Please note that the FAQs Section is subject to change or be updated at any time.

 

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $10 will apply after the 5th of the month and an additional late fee of $25 will apply after the 15th if rent has not been received on time. Late fees are applied per unit.

We accept most forms of paymentRent may be paid with VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Check or Cash. Payments can be setup to charge to a credit or debit card automatically the 1st of each month, or they can be made over the phone or in person during Office Hours, Monday – Friday between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. (Non-cash payments can be dropped in the payment drop box at any time 24/7). Cash payments cannot be dropped in the payment box and can only be handled during Office Hours.

The facility is Closed between 10:00 pm – 5:00 am every day.

Everyone and all vehicles, trailers, etc. MUST BE OFF OF THE FACILITY NO LATER THAN 10 PM.

If you need to update any information regarding your unit, make an address or phone number change, provide new credit card information, etc., please call us during Office Hours, Monday – Friday between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, and we will be happy to help you with any changes to your information or answer any questions you may have.

BMI Storage does not provide insurance for Items stored by Tenants while at BMI Storage. It is the sole responsibility of the Tenant to insure their property against any and all types of loss. BMI Storage makes content insurance available for an additional charge through a third-party insurance provider and receives no fees or commission for this service. Additionally, Tenants should check with their homeowner/ renters insurance agent regarding any coverage they may offer.

BMI does not provide for trash disposal on the facility for furniture, boxes, etc. Tenants must take this with them and dispose of off-site as noted in the rental agreement. Additionally, Tenants may not arrange to have their own dumpster delivered to the facility.

NOTE: Trash cans on the facility are provided as a convenience for handling small amounts of trash.

Before moving out we would like to thank you for storing with us. It was a pleasure to serve you. If you have storage needs in the future, we hope that we can be of service again.

BMI Storage Management and Personnel

Move out Procedure:

  1. Please notify the Office at least 5 days prior to moving out, during Office Hours, Monday – Friday between 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your move out.
  2. Rent must be current prior to moving out and you must vacate the unit by the last day of the month. There is no proration of rent on moveout.
    If the lock is on your unit and/or the unit is not left empty by the first day of the month you will be responsible for the rent for the month. (Remember the facility closes at 10 pm and you must be off of the facility by no later than 10 pm).
  3. The unit must be left empty, with the door down and the lock removed and taken with you. (Remember, you have the only keys to the unit. As long as the lock is on the unit you are responsible for the rent).
  4. As stated in your rental agreement, you must take everything with you when you vacate the unit. BMI does not provide for any trash disposal on the facility for furniture, boxes, etc. Tenants are responsible for taking this with them and disposing of off-site.
  5. Please do not sweep outside unit floors out into the open. However, you may sweep any dirt or bits of trash into a small pile inside the unit before you put the door down and leave with your lock. BMI will take care of it from there.
